Hopefully this isn't farewell to the wittiest and most insightful London channel, I never fail to be amused and informed by these videos. Remember that Jago Hazzard spent years with only a few hundred subscribers. Then *The Algorithm* discovered him and within three months he had over 100,000 subs. But even if you don't win the algorithm lottery, you can be assured that your videos provide a lot of pleasure to your loyal fans.

Noooooooooo, I sincerely hope this isn't the last Exploring London video, I'm definitely gonna miss them popping up in my feed every so often. Thanks so much for all the videos Andrew! They've all been fantastic and have really made me want to move to London. I gotta ask though, is there a possibility that you'll explore and record wherever it is that you move to next?

When I had just left school, I was taken on as casual labour with a friend of my father, and went to the Docks with him to help with the dismantling of some buildings. It was not a nice place then ( Must have been 1977/8). Worked at Molins in Deptford for years, and was disappointed the station changed from Surrey Docks to Surry Quays...Used to take the tube, which was a branch line then, from Surrey Docks to Whitechapel, then into London on a Friday night..

Great video - the first I've seen of yours, and I'll watch more. I'm doing a self-guided tour through London via Google Streetview, and I started in Southwark. When I came to Canada Water, being Canadian, I felt some delight in learning about it and noticing all the streets named with Canadian location names. Your video really added to my understanding of the place. I was particularly delighted because while I was in Russia Dock Woodland I was so mystified by seeing what I could only consider a dock, next to a field. My guess that was it had silted in or something, but to learn that it was intentionally filled in was interesting! As I make my way through my tour, I'll definitely refer to your videos!

Hi Andrew, absolutely love your channel. Please please please can you share some of your London knowledge with me. I currently live on north coast of Scotland but will soon be moving to London where, following an early midlife crisis, I will be a Mature student. I’ll be studying at the university of Westminster in Marylebone. I need to find somewhere to live but since London is so massive and I am so ignorant I have no idea what areas to focus my search on. I need to find an area with good transport links to uni but happy to be up to an hour away. Since I’ll be an impoverished student I will need to keep the costs as low as possible (hilarious I know). There are lots of trendy areas that look really nice but then I remember I’m absolutely not cool or hipster. That said after my great migration across the border I may start to develop a taste for avocados and style my hair into a man bun. Wherever I end up I’d like to be close to some green space and some nice coffee shops. I also want to feel somewhat safe since I’ve lived a very sheltered life where the most outrageous crime was the theft of a wheelie bin. I don’t have a preference between north or south since I can’t even tell my north from my south. I’d be extremely grateful for any suggestions of areas you have. Thanks. Have a great week. Sam

Oh, come on, there are at least 17 of us who regularly tune in. Some of us little later than others, but still... Wherever you move there is a street with a story and you are an excellent storyteller. Don't even think about quitting. You are much better at this than Geoff, he is just glorified bin counter riding high on Vicki's charisma. 😁 But seriously if you want to succeed like him you must upload regularly and as often as possible. Otherwise YT algorithm does not care about you. Anything less than video a month and it's highly unlikely they will recommend you to anyone.
