Juicing means you are throwing away the excellent pulp that you need to feed the good bacteria in the gut and to slow down the glycemic index of the juices. Try a Vitamix high powered blender instead and eat the whole lot. The juice, the pulp, everything. It's better than juice alone. I have a blended mix of fruit and veg every morning for breakfast. I used to juice with a juicer. The blended mix is much more satisfying.

After much hard work and saving Friday I will have my own Pablos Luminance and Polychromos. I can't hide my excitement. Pencil art has changed my life for the better in many ways. Cant wait to nestle in this winter and explore the realm.

If you don't have dark green use black next to a mid-green. It works well, especially with a limited number of pencils.

Actually it’s not misleading if you have been following the series. The entire series is called Exploring Caran d’Ache Luminance & Pablo Pencils. Then it states this episode is: Pablos for layering.

I wasnt interested in coloring videos but i love listening to u talk. juicing is better than no fruit at all. i have fibromyalgia and control it with my diet. i have lots of smoothies everyday.

When we lived in the Pacific Northwest ( Washington and Oregon) when the rain would come the low or high pressure would give me a head ache, my head would feel like I was in a aquarium. Now we live in Michigan and when the rain comes in I don't feel the pressure as much. We watched that documentary also...very interesting. Eating clean is very good for you. Your picture is coming along.. looks great. How do you like your Pablo's?

The bottom line is that a woman who has always had migraines may well find that she has them no more after the menopause (my own personal experience bears that out). My poor granddaughter started with migraines at the same time as her periods. No medical treatments helped her, so I bought her feverfew tablets in Holland & Barrett (Moederkruid in Dutch). It is necessary to take 1 tablet every day and it works. Cold gel packs from the freezer, wrapped in cloth and held to the painful side, also helps a lot. Diet, especially avoiding trigger foods, is also a great help. Juice if you like, but you are just robbing your body of the valuable fibre that you are throwing into the bin. I read that really scathing comment from the person who can't wait to get out of the Netherlands because she thinks all the food is rotten. I have lived here for 14 years and that is not my experience. UK supermarkets are full of food products imported from Holland!😊

Henny I would recommend checking out nutritionfacts.org - researched based, non-profit organisation who research all the research on nutrition. It lead me to a fully plant based diet. It took me a year to come to that conclusion but the more I read about consuming animal products the more I wanted to stop eating them. Also, animal agriculture is impacting the climate at a ferocious rate - check out the documentaries What the Health and Cowspiricy 😊. Lovely colouring by the way. I don't have these pencils but I think I might try this page out next

South Africans use the word "benoud" in exactly the same context as you do. We don't pronounce it quite the same, though.

Henny, it's wonderful "visiting" your garden. No wonder you are such an inspired artiste extraordinaire! At my local craft store, I had been fortunate to purchase a set of 30 Pablos for $60, which was a tremendous bargain. So far, I'm shocked that I do not like them at all. I'll exercise patience, as I had the same reaction with my beloved Irojitens. I'll continue to find ways to try out the Pablos. Having an auto-immune disorder, I can report that dietary culprit for me was animal fat itself. I feel fabulous when I have for example, a homemade lentil soup brimming with vegetables. If I eat red meat, (and the fat it contains) it provokes the inflammations. The latest flare up resulted in acute heart failure, so I have a high interest in this area. A plate of fresh veggies with some homemade hummus is my most enjoyable meal right now. I'll be trying a "fake" tuna recipe that uses chickpeas and powdered seaweed - it sounds lovely. The Pablo pencils, in my opinion, are quite 'strong'. I had to find my way with them also but I enjoy them very much right now.

Beans Enola just watched the video...I also have autoimmune disorders. I am a nurse and spent a year researching nutrition. Due to my research I stopped eating animal products altogether. I highly recommend it. Animal proteins are not good for our health, so full of horrible stuff. I heard a someone say "why eat from the graveyard when you can eat from the garden?". So, a vegan diet for me (mostly organic). Fortunately, in Scotland, we have great produce. It's all way better for the environment and of course the animals. I would check out the documentaries What the Health and Cowspiricy and go to nutritionfacts.org for excellent information on all health topics relating to nutrition 😊
