Still kind of hoping for a desert area at one point, since it's a magical world it shouldn't weird, even if it's set in Scandinavia. But this looks good too, and like it could be fun and wild.

That would be sooo amazing! Considering Star Stable has Akhal-Teke's, Marwari's ect, all horses that usually live in a destert climate. But honestly, I'd still be happy if they finally update the Valley of the Hidden Dinosaur. It's still bug-gy (since day one tbh) and so ugly in comparison to other parts of Jorvik.

That might actually not be far from reality, because the layout of the centre of the secret area - the part from 5:39 on - reminds me VERY much of the so-called Lone Star Canyon in _Star Stable: Summer Riders_ (one of the 4 original Star Stable games, according to whose map of Jorvik the current map of Jorvik in SSO is modelled); and the Lone Star Canyon indeed was a desert region, with a lot of rocks, reddish-brown dry terrain, in other words a classic desert canyon. Even if SSO eventually decides not to transform this secret area into a canyon, it can't be denied that at least the layout was significantly inspired by the Lone Star Canyon in _Summer Riders_ .

I wouldn1t call Wild Weave a new area. Yeah we did get Devil's Gap but currently there is nothing there we could do on a daily basis.

Some of the more detailed areas are really pretty! It could also be texture practise for hollow woods (but I hope that will be darker) ide love to see a new area :) especially one that was in the original games/ books

yeah but eventually it won't be functioning like a test area. They will most likely make it a proper playable area in the future.

I was looking for every possible spot to get there, until I found the little platform next to the igloo in dino valley. It turns out that with maximum jump stat you can jump over the little cliff and freely walk into this area. The feeling was euphoric, being able to find an entrance myself and explore such an area that isn't meant to be entered

Please, can you specify which "igloo" exactly you mean? Do you mean Nic's camp, or perhaps Icengate? Or maybe one of the "ice caves" around Dino Valley (one of them is roughly above Nic's camp)? And which little platform precisely you mean? Thank you so much in advance! 🙏

@@miaow8670 It's kind of hard to explain, but it's high up near the icengate. Just take a trailer to icengate and go right alongside the mointain ascend on the pathways as high as yoi can. But it's not one of th cave thingies, but an actual igloo

@@2KilogramWhitefish I'm sorry, I just can't find it for god's sake. :/ If I go straight from Icengate along the mountain - that is, towards the spot where the author glitched under the ice - the highest spot is just the area with the geysers, and no igloo. If I go behind icengate, there's only the pathway leading to the high platform alongside the mountain range that leads to one of the ice caves, but again, no igloo. And there's no other high place near Icengate that I know of; I kept searching, but only got too close to Nic's camp, far away from Icendell already. Do you think you could try to give me some more precise directions…? Or perhaps some distinct place/thing that's near the igloo?

I just used a short hair and honestly the clothes really make a difference. I suggest you searching for more masculine type of clothes.

I was genuinely trying to make through the last jump for at least 1 hour. My horse wasn't in the best condition so that might was the problem here. Make sure to go with a really happy horse which is level 13-15. :)

I mean there is nothing special there you just have to constantly trying to jump there. That time I have been trying for 2 hours straight that's why I turned off the recording. I don't even have the footage of it. Sorry 😥 I was mad at myself as well because I thought I won't manage to jumo through there 💀😂

A lot of people recommended me to use the horses which are based on the 1.5 Gen Starter horse model. I used a Mustang which was not fully happy so that might was the reason I was struggling.

I agree with the video's author that the horse breed matters a lot. I tried climbing there with my Gen 3 Welsh Pony, which I think is generally the best mountaineering horse; I had hyper Jumping and he had hyper Strength (thanks to gear), and he could get to the area beyond Dino Valley no problem, but the particular mountain leading to Cape Point he was just unable to make. He kept falling down and couldn't jump high enough. I kept trying for like an hour, still didn't work. So I switched him for my Gen 1.5 English Thoroughbred and tried it with him, and *boom* , it literally took me only about 5 minutes and I climbed the damned mountain. I noticed that he wasn't falling from the indentation in the mountain by far as often as the Welsh Pony, and he could also jump farther. I think the pony is either too short or too thin, or has too small hooves, or the older models with the older animations work better for climbing steep hills, whatever, but the point is that with Gen 1.5 Akhal-Teke, English Thoroughbred, or any other horse based on the starter horse model it's much easier. And the strategy: jump into the indentation, stop there, and then just keep pressing "W" to get to full speed and then spacebar repeatedly like crazy. For minutes straight if it's necessary. You will be running forward, stopping and doing mini-jumps over and over again. But after a while of trying this, it simply happens that the mechanics causes your horse to jump just a little bit back, but then run forward from zero speed to full speed instantly; and as you press spacebar for jumping then, your horse will jump forward from full speed, and that's the moment that you're looking for because this enables your horse to actually jump high and far enough to overcome the hill. 😉 TL;DR: Get a Gen 1.5 horse using the starter horse model (= e. g. Gen 1.5 English Thoroughbred) with at least level 13, get gear boosting "Jumping" with character and "Strength" with horse, and when there, jump into the indentation in the mountain, and then keep pressing "W" and spacebar super fast, over and over, until you manage the jump.
