The South African coin was likely minted before 1999, since it was about then that the new coat of arms appeared on the reverse, if I'm not mistaken. And it's a Blue Crane on the front; our national bird. Great video! :D

Lakemont Park, located in Altoona, Pennsylvania, houses the world's oldest-surviving roller coaster, the Leap-The-Dips. The park opened in 1894 as a trolley park and became an amusement park in the summer of 1899

Great great video. Very relaxing but at the same time informative. That being said... i was happily surprised when you showed a coin from my country, Portugal. You began showing it at 13.08. It is really "escudos", as you said it, which means "shields", in english. We had escudos in Portugal, since the beggining of the 20th century until the Euro took over, and we were all screwed hehehe... Thanks, again, for the video.

Generally speaking (I invest in Gold in Silver), the only coins that are valuable are made from precious medals (intrinisic) and certain coin from years with low mintage (numismatic) or a combination of the two.

If you have all 50 state quarters, each set goes for about $50 on ebay! So basically it's worth 4 times it's intrinsic value...

Pre 1965 Quarters are Silver. After 1964, they had various amounts of Silver until the price of Silver made it to expensive to use in coins.

I assume the deutschmarks were from West Germany? I know they introduced that currency first but I don't know if East Germany followed suite or not. Also, because some of them have eagles on, I'm guessing Soviet controlled East Germany wouldn't have printed the symbol for freedom on their coins, but you never know...!

1 Deutsche Mark or 100 Pfennig back in the day are 0.5€ or 50 cent now. So those 5 bugs there are quiet the good amount of money. I would love to still have 5 Mark or 5€ as a coin and not as paper money like it is now with euro here in germany. Very relaxing video thank you (-: -cheers

That's a caribou on the back of the Canadian 25-cent piece. Yes, you pronounced escudos correctly. The boat on the back of the Canadian 10-cent piece at the end is The Bluenose, the fastest racing schooner of its time.
