What a breathtaking coast line! Loved the caves and the old harbour. Anywhere else along the south coast and I would of suggested that those ruined buildings could be from WW2, but not in Cornwall evidently. So enjoyable, I don't want this series with you and Mark to end!

Beautiful walk! Neat little cove those buildings were tucked into & like the cave. Glad to see you finally found a "sand" beach. Beginning to think there wasn't any in England.

Oh there is plenty of sand in England. :) Not all on it is by the sea!

I spent all my holidays at Wheal Kitty as a child. Hours and hours scrambling around all the places in your video (and many others). I was always fascinated by the large concrete area which housed processing machinery. I used to throw stones down the shaft beside the engine house, and count the seconds until I heard the splash. I imagine that was a pumping engine so there would have been a drainage sump at the bottom. I believe the square chimney was the end of the flue of an arsenic burner. The bare brownish-yellow ground is polluted with arsenic so nothing grows. I also spent many happy hours scrambling on the old harbour, and crossing from Trevaunance to Trevellas over the rocks.

I thought that first place that you stopped at on the cliffs was the birth place for trig points 😆 - another great video!

Sixty years ago, the harbour ruins were much more prominent. Was shocked the other year to get a picture from my sister which hardly showed any of the blocks at all, only recognised the cliff. Just before the cliff goes around to the left there is a tunnel which leads to an inlet, but not something you would want to follow as the sewer flows out some 20 or so feet up. May be it doesn't any more due to regulations

When you came out of that cave, with the barnacles and seaweed going way above your heads! I thought of those poor Chinese cockle pickers at Morecome bay! Don’t go down to the beach,if you can’t get back off!!
