Amazing that those arches are still holding up after 2600 years. All these newer houses we live in, don't stand a chance over time. In 2600 years from now the only thing recognizable will be granite countertops laying on the ground. Someone will likely be hiking around, puzzled as to what their purpose was.

So many vloggers put tjeir videos out long after their actual travels and it creates a total disconnect and personally, I lose interest. I discovered this beautiful place in 1982 by kind waiters in my hotel in Marmaris. It was a village without postcards, sun cream, turtle souvenirs and noisy nights. It has grown by now but it is still worlds apart from the "concrete deserts" of Antalya, Alanya and Side. ... And please, speak "plaj" like the French "plage". Both words mean "beach". For me, passing the delta and then seeing the Iztuzu beach was as unforgettable as facing the Lycian tombs above the river. ❤️🐢❤️🐢❤️

PILAJ meaning beach where you can go into water and enjoy laying on the sand... sometimes have to pay to get in. Letter J in Turkish is pronounced closer to June in English...Adding I at the end as in PILAJI means "of" and goes with a name for the Pilaj...You might want to ask someone to pronounce it for you. Otherwise you are doing really well with the pronunciations. I am really enjoying your videos... Dalyan looks to be a beautiful and interesting little town. Showing the activities of thee local people, religious for otherwise is a real plus and good addition to your presentation. People praying outside the mosque is due to COVID-19. Otherwise they would be praying inside thee mosque.
