The Vale of Clwyd railway line ran from Rhyl to Corwen in North Wales for over 100 years.
It served a number of towns and villages including Ruthin, as well as Denbigh, Trefnant and St Asaph, one of the UK's smallest cathedral cities.
Although the station at Denbigh was demolished 50 years ago to make way for a supermarket, and then was again redeveloped for a second time in recent years there are still quite a lot of railway relics left, such as bridge abutments, the water tower, parts of the platform and the engine shed.
The village station at Trefnant was cleared completely and a small housing estate covers the site.
At St Asaph, the station building survives but is now a builders merchants.
