Exploring East York & the Danforth in Toronto on an Escooter (Nov 2021)

A ride around the south-end of the former borough of East York eventually heading south to the Danforth and riding through Greektown making my way back to Broadview Station.

I just picked an eScooter with some credit card reward points. I’m really excited to get it and try it out but I’m wondering if you have had any issues since they are technically banned in Toronto. I’ll likely be sticking to trails, bike lanes, and quiet streets. Has anyone ever given you any trouble for riding it around in public?

I've never had any issues at all... I've even been smiled at by some cops lol. Just follow the rules as you would on a bike and you should be fine! Enjoy the new toy :)
