EXPLORING ESCO - An abandoned Spanish village?

In this vlog, we move on from 2 nights spent recharging our batteries and cooling down at Camping Gavin in Northern Spain.
Riki follows up on his love of reservoirs and we stop at the Yesa reservoir for a chance to find out more about just what happened to the people of Esco after the Yesa dam was built.
Is it really abandoned?
We find some mysterious boots as we enter the derelict village. Is this a warning sign to stay away?
As the weather heats up, we decide to head to the coast.
Once again, without anything planned, we end up at an unexpected park up for the night…

Unless I missed all the socials today - having to go to the office ! 😂 loved the vlog 😍 another really interesting one with lots of history love that abandoned village, well partly abandoned 😁12th century church! It blows my mind that something built all those years ago is still standing!! Love the reservoir very pretty and the cider stopover was gorgeous, shame it was all closed up 😞 McD’s chips looked nice with the bacon and cheese 😋 can’t wait for the next one guys … no pressure 🙏🤣🤣 😁 xxx 😘

Thanks Wilds as always. I like to take my time on these things 🤣 but a bit of sunshine in winter can’t be a bad thing?! Esco was intriguing 🤔 left to fall apart but with someone living there. We love a bit of exploring and digging in to the history. 😁 Sometimes you just need a Maccys to get you fed and back on the road 🫣 but it’s nice to be able to get a gluten free bun which you can’t get in the UK 😤 Xx

😂 that happens quite often in real life 🤣 I lose him from the channel and vanlife for most of November and all of December as Christmas is his busiest time at work. (Great for me and solo trips!) But he’s back now and wants to come out with me 🙄

Thank you, Riki loves the heat whereas I like to be at a constant 20 degrees c 🤗🥵 Esco was such a sad place to walk around with it left to fall down for the last 70 plus years. Happy travels you two xx

All burgers should come with cheese in my opinion! 🧀 You can’t trust him can you?! 😂 They did indeed make some great cider and we bought 6 bottles 🍻🍏🍎🍋 but they were a bit too sharp for my taste 🙃 but Riki loved them. Xx

Hi there just a word on self leveling i think you mentioned I had the e.p hydrolic leveling system 9 months ago it still does not work £6000 to be fitted. On collection there was a fault driving down motorway 1 leg came down to the floor so scary. Still have the problem its been back time after time still the same it was my dream to have this system now i have changed my m/h as a result and would not recomend it
