Riki’s got my number, I’m obsessed with the weather forecast.😂 Glad he managed to get it all in on that last pub stop considering his length!😁 Those cakes looked lush, where were ours?🤔 My answer to hat hair is not to wear one 😆 if my ears are cold I wear ear muffs. That was a great few days with you guys, thank you for inviting us. ❤

Hahah we were very impressed with your weather updates and insight 🤓 Don’t flatter him, it wasn’t that tight 🤣🤣 He was a bit selfish with the cakes. He wasn’t sharing the Biscoff with anyone 😆 My hair is a lot if not controlled in high winds 💨 🌪️🤡 I had ear muffs on under the hat! But with the muffs, the hair and the wind it was all a bit too much! 🤣 We really enjoyed a chilled couple of days and must do it again soon xx

Lovely video watched it in the car waiting to board our ferry from Bilbao. We’ve never ventured over to Norfolk I’ll add it to the long list. I also like any sort of cake but Biscoffi is one of my favourites.

Thank you and I hope you’ve had safe travels? If you do get a chance to visit Norfolk during the seal pup season then we would definitely recommend it. There are so many places to see aren’t there? It’s hard to chose where next. Riki has a real weak spot for Biscoff!! 😂

Great video, we did the area a few years ago but never saw the seals. Its nice to see the volunteers roping off the area and keeping them as safe as can be.

Thank you for the lovely comment. Amazing as it was to see so many seals, the baby seals that hadn’t made it did break my heart and I wanted to run down and move the ones in danger away from the water! There were so many volunteers out in all weathers keeping the humans a safe distance away. More importantly they were also really generous with sharing information and educating people too.

We have a local Calor centre near to us I filled up recently and was asking them about the availability of LPG. They told me no sign of it closing however Morrison’s are cutting back and replacing them with EV chargers. Not sure if it’s nationwide. Our habitation check later this month will £260 I believe the vehicle service which the dealer doesn’t do is about £500 Happy travels 😊
@TheHillsExplore3 ай бұрын
We’d like to think that although it is becoming slightly harder to find LPG the demand surely must still be really high? It’s hard not to feel glum when the one garage that sold LPG in Swindon stopped selling it followed a few months later by the Cirencester garage stopping it too. We just have to plan ahead 👍🏻 Hope all goes well with your hab check and service. That’s very similar to our total cost for both. I think it’s money well spent and certainly gives us peace of mind. 😊
@micksparrow82143 ай бұрын
@@TheHillsExplore totally agree with you about the hab check my wife doesn’t like me put the gas on for anything so it’s always a piece of mind when it’s done. I’d love to know what I’m paying £500 for the vehicle service. I used to a HGV technician in a workshop things have progressed a lot since supposedly making it better with the technology but they just think of a number and add a zero on the end.

Very surprised to see an invasive damp tester being used, I would only use one if the non invasive tester showed a reading that needed confirming. The FFD's are designed to cut off the gas if the flame goes out, to test simply light the appliance, turn it off and wait for the FFD to click. Has to be within 60 seconds.

@TheHillsExplore3 ай бұрын
😅 Mark will have to wait until the summer to see the shelf in all its glory!! No chance in this weather of cooking outside! 🤣 💨 I believe for the engine and habitation service it was £728. It seems a lot but then the vehicle is a lot! 🤣🤣 And I then looked up what we paid to have the car serviced and it was more!! £748 last time 😅😘 xx

@@TheHillsExplore ha ha I will tell him 🤣 can’t wait to see it though 😃 I suppose for a service and a hab check that’s ok 👍🏻 like you say it’s a big vehicle ! Ah hello neighbour - Well weekend neighbour 😄 My heart sank (along with the van) when I realised Riki’s great value site booking was a grass pitch! But we couldn’t fault the staff. The whole team were friendly and they were very well prepared for the inevitable towing 😅 Do you need some assistance too?
@VandromedasTravels3 ай бұрын
Nope - we booked the last hard standing a while back, for which I’m eternally grateful. Everybody needed towing off the grass - it was very, very wet. They’d pricked the whole lot over, as well, to try to drain it, but, as you say, the site team was well prepared and nothing was too much bother. When we left on Monday it was a bit better, but Jez and Bev still needed towed off… Thank goodness for the pub!!
@andrewthornhill42293 ай бұрын
Why would you even go on the wet ground in the first place common sense
@TheHillsExplore3 ай бұрын
All their hard handing pitches were full. As we said in the video, we wouldn’t go on a grass pitch unless we know the site can tow us out. 😊 In the UK this is standard procedure and the campsite are very well equipped for all the British weather can throw at them 😊 The wardens were lovely ☺️

We landed right in the middle of that Tractor Run must of been roughly the same time as you. , was a bit unnerving having returned the day before from our European trip and being in the Farmers Protest through France and Spain. looked in the Carthago MH its bigger than ours and didn't like the shiny leather it had XX
@TheHillsExplore3 ай бұрын
We thought the same to start with when we became part of the convoy. We thought is good be a protest. But when we spoke to the Marshalls they were really lovely and I think we were lucky not to have been stuck for long at all in the traffic. We always find something we aren’t keen on even in the really expensive motorhomes. (Like our old table!) My next project (after the coffee machine) is seat coverings. I would love to have them properly covered in a nice faux leather (not shiny though!) 😊 xx

Great video guys. The tractors were definitely a charity event that finished in Pateley Bridge. We were there for a night and spoke to a local farmer who told us about it but warned us of the traffic. Last year they raised over £26000. Sadly we couldn’t make the show hopefully next year we’ll make it.
