Exploring Everett Marina + Waterfront Place On Memorial Day

Love seeing you up North! The Everett Marina is going through a major revamp. Going to be really cool to see what it looks like over the next few years. That run down building by the guest dock you started at is the Everett Yacht Club. They have plans on renovating it from what I have heard. They have also talked about turning the Weyerhauser Building into a museum as well. You should come up for the summer concerts as well! Hotel Indigo is a great option for overnight stays.

Good day Mr.Dennis. The Weyerhaueser building was moved here in 1984,so this isn't it's original site. They actually put it on a barge and floated it here. Believe it's like 6000sq.ft. and built out of Douglas fir, Hemlock and Red cedar shingles. I have contracts with Weyerhaueser to supply them with timber.

Beautiful place to walk...I used to walk there off and on until I moved south toward Seattle. Luv that Weyerhaeuser building! I wonder if they'll ever let people go inside--that would be really NEAT!

Nice walk along the waterfront. Some of those boats cost more than my house, I'm sure! Are they still using the house or is it empty? Very interesting and pretty building.

I think the house is used as an office. Not sure. They are revamping this area and I’ll have to revisit soon!
