Yeah, Barou has the most goals because Ubers is set up to facilitate him. His only competition is Sendou. Even the master Snuffy plays to set up Barou rather than score himself. At Barcha it's just Bachira, or Lavinho (but they lost every game, restricting their scoring potential by at least 3 goals) (I'm including Lavinho bc he's the type of guy to wanna score every game, regardless of them being under 20s players) Manshine has Nagi and Chigiri competing with the same losing issue as Barcha PXG has Rin and Shidou competing (only 2 to score on the world 5) And Bastard has Isagi, Kaiser, and Kunigami, all competing to score. Add in the 3 goal limit and there just aren't enough goals to go around for these teams with multiple star strikers

A lot of people saying it's unfair that Shidou gets chosen over Barou when Sae or a playmaker like Sae is on the team, but genuinely I think it makes sense. Barou's shot, while strong, is also very straight forward. He has technique and predator eyes, yes, but I don't think he'll really be able to keep up with the image of a goal that Sae/Hiori would be able to conjur. Shidou, due to his spatial awareness and honestly this man probably *has* some form of predator eye, would be able to clash Sae/Hiori's top performances with his want for pleasure and therefor come up with a reaction befitting the image Sae/Hiori managed to come up with. Mostly just my hot take though

Here my formation: Gagamaru goalkeeper (obviously), Aryu and Aiku defenders, Chigiri left back, Otoya right back, Karasu defensive midfielder, Hiori defensive midfielder, Isagi or Rin offensive midfielders, Sae left winger, Bachira right winger, Barou or Shidou center forwards. We would stay with a formation of: 4-2-3-1. what do you think?

just sharing my take on this My 23 U-20 Japan line up Starting Line Up CF - Shidou, Barou > Shidou who can score anywhere in the box (even outside the box if in flow) he is also basically like Isagi and Rin who can see where to positions themselves best with their eyes but with Shidou is with his instincts (as seen with him colliding with Rin and interfering with one another as they both position themselves and try to recieve the ball), Barou who can play off Shidou's flashy playstyle like a shadow 2nd striker, devouring playstyle (especially with predator eye) LW - Nagi > Nagi who can recieve from any position, create impossible opportunities not only for himself, can move up the ball and attract defenders with his god-like dribble RW - Otoya > who can go anywhere with his speed and off the ball skills, can act as a planetary support just like Kurona (as seen with his plays with Bachira against Bastard M) but also can score and create more options with his own positioning OMF - Sae > obviously the best choice for offensive midfielder, isagi, hiori and rin on steriods DM - Reo > who can both defend and participate on moving up the ball and in the offense, switching between his chameleon modes depending on the situation (also he can maybe copy Karasu's but I still think Reo is a better option in my opinion) LSB - Chigiri > first can add pressure with the backs with his high speed pressure, limiting the options of the attackers, can also intercept out of nowhere and steal the ball, and 2ndly move the ball up faster than anyone, participating in the offense with his mach cut in and golden zone RSB - Tokimitsu > with his dominant physique and explosive speed, can man mark anyone and even 1v1 and steal the ball from them, adding pressure to the attackers, limiting their options, can also move up the ball, almost impossible to stop LCB - Niko > acting as watchtower one, who can look for the gaps in the defense, anticipate the movements of the attackers, intercept and steal the ball with his meta-vision RCB - Aiku > a more crack up version of Niko who can move up the ball himself with his physique and vertical GK - Gagamaru > haha Subs: Bachira, Kunigami, Rin, Isagi, Kurona, Hiori, Karasu, Zantetsu, Raichi, Aryu, Darai, Fukaku. Reasons: Bachira - can sub in for the 2 wingers and 2 CF, as a CF because of his passes, link up play and can move up the ball himself and score, as a winger for the same reasons plus his crosses and can act like a support Kunigami - can sub in for the 2 CF or Nagi with his physicalty and shooting ability from anywhere because of his ambidextrous style Rin - can sub in for the 2 CF, 2 Wingers or even Sae (if needed but we all know dude wants to be a striker, he is a playmaker), with his meta-vision, unconfirmed predator eye, incredible physique, accuracy and techniques on dribbling, ball keeping, passing and shooting Isagi - same as Rin minus the physique, unconfirmed predator eye, ball keeping and some shooting techniques, although his monstrous adaptability can be rather useful in certain situations Kurona - can sub in for the 2 wingers and 2 side backs to act just like Otoya with his speed and passing capabilities and like Chigiri that can move up with the ball Hiori - same as Rin minus the physique and with adaptibility like Isagi's (as seen with his rivalry with Charles or maybe not), but most likely sub in for Sae Karasu - sub in for Reo for obvious reasons Zantetsu - sub in for the 2 side backs and 2 wingers to act like Chigiri just with less maximum speed and like Otoya (as seen with the PXG game) Raichi - I prefer him as a side back due to his man marking and provocative nature, just like tokimitsu minus the explosive speed and physicality (but of course can be sub in for DM) Aryu - sub in for the 2 backs if the team needs more vertical and reach rather than vision, so for situational purposes (I prefer Niko's vision with Aiku's) Darai - underrated character with an op defending ability, sub in for the 2 backs, he is like Niko but instead of vision, its his instincts, he can "smell" the attackers movements to stop and intercept them, dude stopped Otoya's literal ninja like off the ball movements Fukaku - haha p.s. I think he will play for Japan cuz of Isagi, Shidou and rin) RCam(Cam but staggered to the left): Isagi (He’s the MC) Lw: Shidou (For the chem reaction w/ Sae and just ovr being a demon) Rw: Rin (The MC’s rival, the dynamic with Sae and Shidou, and him being one of the best goddam player in bl) St: Barou (Best U20 st as stated by snuffy, predator eye and the chops) 5 Subs are: 1. After the goal Isagi scored against PXg I would completely make the team centered around ISagi. Isagi Barou Sae Bachira Karasu Hiori Chigiri Reo Aryu Aiku Gaga Here is how the team will work, Sae and hiori are perfect to play behind Isagi. They can find his runs both good dribblers and will instinctively (reflexively) link with Isagi. Bachira is Isagi's partner in crime both know each other perfectly and Bachira finds Isagi in the pitch perfectly whenever they have played together. BArou is there of course Isagi and him will devour each other as much as possible and Barou cutting inside with his chop dribbler and getting into his zone just outside the box. Karasu best dm in BL, chigiri on the right with his speed who is be the offensive fullback. Two cbs are self explanatory. Now the main point is putting Reo as a rb, its cause he is a complete player. He can pass, dribble, defend and reads the game pefectly. He can copy the likes of sae, hiori and aiku and be versatile from the right side. He will have more defensive role as Chigiri will mostly push forward in the space Barou leaves after moving inside. This gives the team defensive stability, creative force with Sae and hiori and a insane offensive unit with Barou, Bachira and the main man Isagi. The best BL team for Isagi as the main player. Would put Rin instead of Barou but he doesn't function well with either Isagi or Sae so no.

It really feels like people are underestimating my boy Kunigami. Both in pure strength and overall physique, he trumps everybody in NEL excluding the coaches. With ambidexterity, jumping power and long range shooting, he can shoot pretty much anywhere and in any situation. He's also has the physique to lockdown key players and is really good at poaching shots. Specially after the PxG match, he's going to be better than Shidou and Barou, and would probably revert to a good team player as well. Narratively, Barou is never going to lead a team like he did in Ubers as a main striker. He's going to have to revert back into being the villain in the team. Similarly, I think Rin narratively still has to properly beat Sae, which would mean Sae is not going to join if that hasn't happened yet. There also wouldn't have been any reason to make Hiori have pretty much the exact same playstyle as Sae if he isn't going to be used to replace him. I also agree that we need to maximize Bachira's ability to dribble through the opp's team defense.

He's likely far surpassed both in terms of shooting range. Their only advantage is Barou can dribble better while Shidou has better spatial awareness in the box. Kunigami's stats and skills are all slotted in for what a CF really needs, but he's also literally shutting Shidou down right now, so you're just wrong.

@@BernardoFerreti-yq8jh I disagree. Kunigami is an overall more skilled shot than Barou, and a much more skilled player than Shidou in everything else but acrobatics and off the ball. Kunigami has shown clear superiority in pure jumping ability than Shidou. Ego doesn't really add anything to a player's current ability and only helps drive them to become better. Rin is literally the most skilled player in Blue Lock overall. Both Shidou and Barou are also worse than Rin. Shidou only wants to play football however tf he wants, while Barou is already guaranteed to fail because he isn't the MC. Kunigami is also trying to become a football hero, so no, his arc still wouldn't be complete. Narratively, Shidou and Barou are both players they would only use as either alternative strikers used to make chaos on the field, or a reoccurring villain the audience already knows. But neither is going to pose a comparable level of threat to Rin or Kaiser.

I would play 3-4-2-1 Gagamaru Karasu - Aiku(c) - Raichi Chigiri - Sae - Isagi - Bachira Barou - Shidou - Rin Counter attack strategy DEFENCE: Aiku will be the covering the center and cover a big part of the defence. Karasu is one of the most composed and smartest players in blue lock so he will be perfect for finding weaknesses in the enemy team. Raichi is good on man marking that is why i placed him behind Bachira to compensate his lack of defence. The goal is to slow down the attack so Aiku could catch up. Since Aiku is already good at aerial i wont need to use Aryu. MIDFIELD: Chigiri is perfect for counter attacking cause of his pace if stopped he could pass it right away to Sae. Sae will be the playmaker and will pick from which of the 6 he will choose alot of options would make it hard to predict. Isagi has a good potential for midfield due to his good interceptions and passing he will be a shadow striker. Isagi, Bachira and Rin are all near each other because they have already been teammates alot of times so they have good chemistry with each other which is good for 1,2s Isagi has a good potential for midfield due to his good interceptions and passing he will be a shadow striker ATTACK: Lastly, they have no chemistry with each other which would make it unpredictable for the opponents since Sae is the playmaker passes will be accurate and most likely not miss. These 4 including Isagi would eat each other and be better as the game goes on. Sae has alot of options since they are all different. Rin will be a nice dribbling center forward that could bring forward, Shidou will be for aerial since he is acrobatic and Barou will be a joker and will be hiding and blending in the tea.and will go full power when there is an opportunity to steal passes that Sae is going to pass to the others. CONCLUSION: This team will be a full attacking team and focus on stamina, the goal of the team is not to win with a score of 1-0 but a 5-4, Sae has alot of options to pass either to a fast winger, a dribbling winger, a shadow striker, traditional striker, aerial striker and a joker. The main focus is on strikers so the quality will be focused on attack, thats why i dont think i need to focus much on defence just enough to make the ball easier to save for gagamaru. This formation also helps having a triangle/diamond which makes tiki taka a viable option.

nice vid, and i think it would be interesting if you made a NEL version of this(only using NEL players) and if you do, here's my formation: 4-4-2 Diamond GK: Gagamaru Gin(Subs: Fukaku) Pretty obvious pick. CBs: Oliver Aiku and Don Lorenzo(Subs: Aryu and Niko) Also a no brainer, the 2 best defenders in the NEL and they have really great chemistry together. RB: Bachira Meguru(Subs: Kurona) Don't know if you remember this, but Bachira used to play as a RW on his team z days, plus he played as a RWB during the U20 match, plus it allows him to link up with another future pick. LB: Chigiri Hyoma(Subs: Otoya) Fullbacks are one of the hardest positions in current football since they are hybrids between offense and defense, but i think Chigiri would do good as one, since he actually has great defensive feats such as stopping Kaiser and Barou, the 2 best strikers in the NEL, and don't even get me started on his offensive feats. CDM: Karasu Tabito(Subs: Kunigami) another obvious pick, and i chose kuni because he's doing really great as a cdm in the current match, plus he has the skills to do it, since he has really good physique and ball holding skills, he'd do better against more agressive and physical teams, since his man-marking is insane, he's been pocketing shidou for now. CAM: Hiori Yo(Subs: Reo) Hot take ig, but i plan on making this team have 2 systems just like PXG and in the primary system he honestly fits better, because his chemical reactions with Isagi are insane, and he was able to link up greatly with Rin both in the 3rd selection and U20 match(spoiler). RMF: Isagi Yoichi(Subs: Sendou) He's doing insane as a RMF in BM and despite me wanting to put him as a striker or a wing, i think he would do good as a RMF, plus he'll play a little more advanced than Hiori, and i chose Sendou because he's been playing with my sub for the RCF(Right center-foward). LMF: Alexis Ness(Subs: Charles) Yeah i guess it's pretty obvious who'll be the other striker now, but honestly you can sub him off for Charles if you want, but since Ness has better chemistry with Kaiser i decided to choose him instead, but Charles will come in when the system changes. CFs: Michael Kaiser[Left] and Itoshi Rin[Right](Subs: Barou Shoei and Shidou Ryusei) Overall better picks since despite thinking Barou is better as a pure striker Rin is just way more versatile than him, both when it comes to shooting and passing, Kaiser is by far the best Striker in the NEL having both MV(Metavision) and PE(Predator eyes) comfirmed and Kaiser impact which is a world-class weapon, and Shidou and Barou would be the vocal point of the secondary system and would always sub-in together with Charles replacing Ness and sometimes Sendou replacing Isagi, really depends on how you wanna play, but reallistically i would never sub Isagi off for Sendou, but it's still an option, let's say Isagi is tired so they sub him off for Sendou so they can preserve him for later(something that happens very often in real world football) Well that's my formation. www.buildlineup.com/shared/6614513c92edbb61bd9aa731 here's a reference

Here’s a idea on to fix the center backs substitution problem and that is to play reo. Thanks to reo having the most balanced in all of blue lock he can literally play in any position.Also reo have played center back before in the U-20 match and his only problem was his physique. Now thanks for princes training reo is a much stronger player and can really be helpful in the defense

11:40 I stand by having Shidou in the box and Barou at CAM. Think about their ideal shooting zones. Most of Barou's goals come from outside the box after his chop dribbling, and most recently with a defender in front of him to block the GK's view. Shidou's goals come from awkward balls in the box and him making the best out of it. Recent chapters have made me swap Rin for Isagi and Tokimitsu for Hiori (Not Karasu bc he got cooked by Hiori, who had many defensive and attacking feats)

So if you wanna have both on the team, chigiri has to be the wing back because their yuki really only has offence in his kit and no defense, while chigiri will still prove useful as a speedster no matter where he plays

I think you missed some of my points from your previous video: 1. I clearly stated the centerbacks don't have any backups because there's no one else in Blue Lock who specifically plays in that position AND if needed Tokimitsu, Raichi or even Reo can play in that position 2. I agree Barou and Shidou are the better "pure strikers" than Rin and Isagi, however I'm trying to approach the formation from the narrative stand point. What I mean by that is both Isagi and Rin are seen as more the main characters in the manga compare to Barou and Shidou and I'm not trying to be bias here as Shidou is one of my favorite players in BL. 3. You said Rin doesn't work well with Isagi and Sae, however while I can see that argument, I'm just thinking before the PXG vs BM match almost everyone said Rin can't work with Shidou as a two up front but look at that match now, I'm not saying they've worked well together so far but think of Rin-Isagi-Sae working similar to how Rin-Shidou-Charles work for PXG. 4. Isagi wants to be a striker, therefore he will play as a striker one day. Don't underestimate Isagi's ability to adapt with whoever he's playing with, this is in corelation with my previous point about Isagi-Rin-Sae playing in the same team. They are some of the biggest characters in Blue Lock manga, they're bound to play with each other at some point. 5. Say whatever you will about the current Nagi situation, he's still one of Kaneshiro's favorite characters and immensely popular (he even gets his spin-off manga). The whole point of his current downfall is for him to find his ego before he gets back up and running again and be more consistent. I know this becomes some kind of a joke in the community but I still trust Kaneshiro will make Nagi shine again. 6. While I agree Aiku has the better metavision, the reason I choose Niko in the center is because the way he plays for Ubers, I see Niko plays more as a Libero who can switch between attack and defense the same way or similar to how Don Lorenzo plays. When he goes on the attack Karasu (or whoever plays as a DM) can move back to the defense to back Niko and help the other centerbacks. 7. I know Bachira sucked at defending during the U-20 match but remenber the formation that Blue Lock used, he was playing a LB in a back four. This time he'll play with 3 centerbacks behind him to cover some of his defensive deficit. He will mostly join in on the attacking side while sometimes help the defense, think of how Hiori plays for Bastard Muenchen. Here's also a few things why I chose that formation 1. I mentioned in my comment from your previous video that I believe everyone with the squad numbers 1 - 11 will be the starting line-up. While this isn't mandatory but I do believe this will be the case, just like in the match between Blue Lock Eleven vs. Japan U-20. 2. I was trying to fit everyone who I believe will be wearing the squad numbers 1 - 11 into the best formation I could think of, that's the reason for the 3 centerbacks, Bachira as RWB, Nagi as a starter, Isagi-Rin-Sae playing together. 3. I also clearly stated that Japan will most likely rotate the squad quite a lot during the tournament depending on the opponents. So you'll get the likes of Barou, Shidou, Reo, Hiori or whoever else your favorite plays as a starter from time to time. Anyway, thank you for including my previous comment in this video.

I quite liked your approach, except I also thought Niko and Aiku should be switched. But if that's their formation in Ubers, I suppose it should stay. Crazy that Ace didn't see that your wing backs are basically just a 2nd wing because you have 3 CBs Also, Isagi and Rin could be arguably better than Barou and Shidou anyway, even without main character bias. (Plus, who's to say Rin and Sae don't work out their differences before the world cup)

I guess maybe Ace didn't fully grasp the concept of Wingbacks in a formation such as 3-5-2 especially in modern football which puts more emphasis on the attack compare to more traditional Fullbacks in a back four formation. Plus Ace seems fixated on playing Bachira through the middle, while there's evident that when Lavinho came on during FC Barcha vs BM match, Bachira was shifted to play as a winger. And playing on the wing either as a winger or a wingback doesn't diminish Bachira's dribbling and passing abilities. I can appreciate Ace's way of thinking but in his formation he put Otoya as a RB in a back four and imo Otoya is not much better than Bachira at defending, so there's also that.
