Exploring Fort Myers Canals/Fishing Naples for Peacocks | CAUGHT MY PB PEACOCK!!!

Simple Florida Fishing here back again with some more AWESOME peacock bass fishing!!! In this video I was really hoping to find some peacock bass in Fort Myers but it just wasn’t going as planned, so we headed down to Naples from there and it paid off!!! Ended up catching my PB peacock bass and a bunch others! Also knocked a new hybrid cichlid species off the list…

- 8lb PowerPro braided line
- 12lb fluorocarbon leader
- Daiwa Kage 2500
- Star Rod Seagis 7’6 (6-14lb)

- 15lb fluorocarbon leader

- Googan Squad Saucy Swimmer 3.3”(flamin hot)/3/0 1/8oz VMC swimbait hook
- Googan Squad Snacky Swimmer 2.5”(monkey milk)/1/16oz crappie jig head
- Mule Fishing Donkey Tail Jr(dakota sunrise)/1/16oz mule jig head
- Custom hand tied jig 1/8oz(ocean blue/chartreuse)

hey brotha i live in fm and there is insane amounts of bass spots basically every pond /canal / even brackish water ponds and there’s definitely lots of studs my pb not too crazy but i’ve gotten tons of 4-5 s and even a 7.8lb

They’re everywhere, but the closer to the Everglades you go the more you’ll find them.
