Exploring Friday Harbour and the surrounding area in the Wilga in Microsoft Flight Simulator

Coming back from illness is always interesting - recovering from a bad cold / flu / COVID (who knows what it really was) over Christmas - and recording a quick flight in the Wilga around Friday Harbour.

This was an excellent video, showcasing both the Wilga and San Juan Islands well. I like when you have a plan but fly around a bit outside of it, makes it more real.

Great flight and nice touch&go's! "This is dangerous!" 😂 Thanks for the video and hope you feel better. No one likes working when you're sick, but it's only half working right😊. Engine probably started without sparks because you had engine realism disabled on the clipboard. Also probably why it didn't die with the cowl flaps closed (may be happening if you have spoiler axis bound to something). It doesn't argue with you much without that. Check out the wheel touch indicator instrument btw. What a great plane this is! I love flying it in VR with both doors taken off. I've been doing a good deal of VOR & NDB hopping. Fun stuff.
