Great video. I remember my tour of D-Day landings and I was so fortunate to be reading Stephen Ambrose book called d-day at the same time. It was like a detailed battle plan that guided me through the area and really brought the history to life. I think the most poignant memories for me during that tour were firstly how wide the beaches were and how much ground they covered under machine gun fire, looking off the cliffs at Pont du Hoc where the rangers landed to take out the guns and seeing how they scaled the cliff under fire was simply unimaginable. Pegasus bridge and how crazy that raid was and how crucial it was to the overall success of the mission. And finally the cemeteries seeing the ages of some of those poor young lads gravestones. Not ashamed to admit I cried there - absolute heroes every one of them. Thanks for the video and keeping this memory alive.

Great video Jay, looked an absolutely fantastic trip. Loved those pretty much intact artillery guns in the bunkers, super cool. Quality bit of filming and editing with those beach signs as well, really good cinematography. Thanks for sharing this journey with us Atb Mark

Well Jay that was one of the finest videos I've seen. That was one epic journey. With the history behind those places with such intense fighting and death and finally victory. I got to ask you, when you guys were standing on that beach and when you went inside those pill boxes I imagine you could still feel that energy that must be there from all the lives that were lost. Can you still feel it? Just curious. Thank you so much for the look back. Until the next adventure, have a great one my friend. Dwayne
