That gun brought many men to their maker. God bless all who have served and rest easy to all who have died. We live on for all of you. God bless and thank you.

It's not about the size of gun or sound that matters, but the ideology these men believed in and fought for

A distanza di tanti anni, questo ammasso di ruggine ho ancora un aspetto inquietante, mi domando come faccia a sorridere questo visitatore in un luogo dove si è vissuta una tragedia dalle dimensioni immani😢

My grandfather was with the first wave of men when they landed on omaha beach. He told me it was like hell at the time. Bullets flying everywhere, Screams, explosion's, limbs everywhere, etc... He was a combat medic during D'day, He said while he was help an injured soldier his friend got shredded by the MG 32 (The machine gun germans were using during D'day) He told me that the bullets shot through his friend killing him and the soldier behind him (Thats what he told me) Him and his other comrades were lucky enough to make it to the point they were suppose to go to but were still under HEAVY fire. But once everything was over about 4,000-4,015 men died and the water was ALL red from the blood of the soldiers. My grandfather passed away last year before his 88th B-day. RIP Grandpa and the men that died on D'day🙏🥀

This is just how I started in 1976 with my dad’s army tent and an army mess kit. Move on to 2024 and now retired, I am still using the same type of authentic original army surplus. How did they ever make so much equipment and never use it.

If the germans copied traps from terraria they would have won such a sad ending the rolling cactus would definitely have the highest kill count

Did you get permission from Malc and Ash Wragg? That’s their private land and for the last few years at least as you know know they put a stop to camping there. Have they started allowing it again if permission sought? I might give him a ring if that’s the case then

"we'll start the war from from right here!" when they learned they laned south of the planned beach, which the actual landing site was not as defended funny enough it was the place the army WANTED to land but the navy said was too shallow
