Exactly. Maybe he didnt show it at the end because it didnt seem as exciting to him since he already owned it thus was easily forgotten.

Maybe if you use a measuring wheel to measure the tunnel to the corner, record the angle the tunnel turns at and measure to that shaft. Then trace it on the surface from the entrance and you might well find an access bunker from the dam in the forest
@MrJtappin6 жыл бұрын
Even pacing it may be enough. The chamber was probably dug to allow the tunnel to be dug from the middle out to make it faster to construct. They may have a bunker on top or may have filled and covered/capped. Would be worth a look.
@lewiskevin14 жыл бұрын
@@MrJtappin Perhaps....Ground Penetrating Radar would show the disruption in the ground if such a tunnel or bunker may exist. I am sure a detection device as G.P.R. would not come at a low price. WW2H.H. might wish to seek out a company or an individual that posses G.P.R. technology. That would make some great vids. I love this stuff. Great channel.

Hi Hunter, the plate you have found is from "Kolmar", a town in Poland in original Chodziez. Chodziez has been known for more than 100 years, even beyond Poland for his porcelain industry, which employed at times over 2000 people. 1940 fits as year of produce. And I think this tower in the middle of the way, it's kind of a ventilation shaft, bringing fresh air down into the shaft. Mining just. This also fits all the wood, beams and other stuff inside. It's just mine and sorry as every Time for my Pidgin-english ;) Greets Bodenpflüger

Very Cool ! Definitely an M-38 German gas mask lense. I am not sure some of you viewers know, but every soldier of most militaries carry a gas mask 24/7 in the field. We definitely did in the US Marines (20 years ago) but also during WW2. Perhaps the gas mask just got crushed while working down there . Great location !

Having seen the first video when you ran out of light this was by far the better one. That the plate was complete is amazing, I didn't even see a chip in it. I wonder if the lake side of the pipes are clogged with silt after all these years unless the source is still being used. The vertical shaft may have been done for air or material. It would be interesting to plot the location from the entrance then back calculate where up on top it would be.Looks like we need to move your robot to the top of the build list.Keep up the great work.

I wonder if the coal you found was used to heat the bitumen to coat the pipes with? Also wonder if the gas mask parts are from the workers wearing them to protect them from the fumes of heating the bitumen? Am also wondering if the silver looking material on the ceiling is phosphate? Had to be a little scary being in that tunnel by yourself. The Olight really lite the place up. What a feat of engineering to transport the water where it was needed.

What a smorgasbord of items to find in that tunnel. Gas mask lens, gas mask strap buckle, gas mask valve, toothbrush, cartridge and clip. Your killing me finding these complete plates. Wonderful location.

Another excellent video! What a spooky place! Did you ever find out what was on the other side of that concrete wall? The huge vertical concrete shaft was very strange. I wonder if once a wooden staircase went up to the hole in the ceiling? Maybe the pile of wood you found was all that was left of it. But I didn't see any obvious signs of where the wooden staircase might have been attached to the concrete. Would be fascinating to know what was up there.

Fascinating video. Perhaps if you use a GPS to mark the location of the tower you maybe able to track it on the surface to a general location. The elevation will be off but I would think the coordinates would be reasonably close. Also, mines often have rooms built from lumber where miners can take a break and have a clean area to take and have a meal. That could be what the pile of rotten lumber may have been, there may be more artifacts buried within. It would be wise to have a respirator of some kind to protect yourself from the fumes and mold.

I have seen those platforms before in other videos. I bet that is where there was a hoist that was used to bring the big valves down to the tunnels there were ladders that went up to them. There is probably more platforms above the one you can see. It looked like a ladder that went to the next level. There was probably was a work station at the corner and the people had a small kitchen there. It would be a good bomb shelter if needed. Just my thought. I love the Olight's they have a sale on them right now here in the USA. I'm getting another M2 tactical light for $79.00. they are normally $100. Well another fine video. Nice find on the plate. I looked at my patreon account and for some reason it didn't go through. I was going to get the $25 level but after Christmas I am going to do the $50 level on your channel. You have brought so much history alive. Thank you very much. Happy Hunting.

The Lake is not seeping through the tunnel end, the water I assume that they took the water from a lowl level of the lake which would make the water very cold , we have a famous fishing spot that is just behind a massive deep lake , the cold water from the spillway has created a micro climate behind the lake , the whole area much cooler year round and draws a lot of exotic species, instead of water seeping through the wall, I think that was condensation not leakage, however I don’t recommend going back to check it out in case I’m wrong !
