I love how everything is done one handed so you can get the shot with the other. Thanks for sharing i'm really enjoying this series.

Great chilled out vlog, love seeing all the behind the scenes stuff. Would be such a dream to work on film projects like these!! What you said about "a lot of sweat and grafting" going into it seems incredibly well worth it (and part of the fun) for the undoubtedly amazing film the team will have created in the end!

GTS as always Nicole loving the behind the scenes action! Can't wait for the finished product. I hope it's not overshadowed by the bee controversy/conspiracy that everyone is trying to get to the bottom of in the comments 😂 Keep up the AMAZING work!

Don´t know why, but I like the scene @ 11:35. It´s raining, the gate is closed, everything seems to be uncomfortable - than the guy comes with his shining umbrella ... Beautiful in its own way... :)

Oh, I can vividly remember discovering on a field production that the touch 'n go wedge (similar to one @ 3:15) that secures the camera quick release slider plate to my Sachtler 25 tripod was missing. Royal pain! Had to temp secure with wraps of gaffers tape. Never again! Invested in another US$85 wedge as spare. Thnx for your vids, Nicole!! Even tho I'm retired now I greatly appreciate being reminded of aspects of my former pro media life.

Love the Vlog! How do you go about getting this music Nicole? I see you listed the tracks but do you get them from a site where it’s royalty free?

Now that you are in Capetown and spring is coming why don't you do a video tutorial on shooting video for first timers. It doesn't need to be long but you have a particular POV that communicates with particular clarity.

Awesome vlog. So much amazing to see. & Those canyons. Awesome. Perhaps the weather in Africa is effected by all the wild fires in California and elsewhere and effected by the extreme weather conditions in America such as those hurricanes and effected by the earth quakes in Mexico. All these things could effect the weather else where. Could it not?

Lovely video but iffy sound at times. Incidentally and assuming you're back from you travels, how did you get back to Capetown? By road?

How does a bee go from the ear cavity to the nose? Did she not have an eardrum? Otherwise there's no connection

Im kenyan and i can also honestly say the only issues i ever have with people back home..99% are the police
@TheTororist7 жыл бұрын
I get you're on a schedule but I wish you hadn't bribed the cops. Our police must be the most corrupt in Africa. I would have whipped out my camera and asked for his badge number. Bribing only adds to the problem in my country. Vicious cycle. Great vlogs tho
@NicoleEddy17 жыл бұрын
Kiprotich Toroitich 100%, I completely understand it's not the route to go, but 'technically' Greeny had stopped on a main road, even though there was no one else on the road. He even threatened to arrest Naude, who was the driver of Greeny, so it was a bit of tense situation. But yeah, I hear you :) And thanks for watching x
@jimmy16917 жыл бұрын
yeah Kiprotich but Kenyan cops suck. We as Kenyans know how shitty and corrupt they can get. Nicole should have gotten their badge number so that we shame them. It's a big disease here. But hey Nicole am sure you guys were in a tight spot. And if you were arrested that would have ruined the day. Its not ok to have bribed them but It saved the day.
@NicoleEddy17 жыл бұрын
We have the same situation in SA with the cops, although I have never experienced it myself at home. But I wasn't in the vehicle that got pulled over as we waited behind them to avoid adding fuel to the fire so I didn't get the whole exchange, however I don't actually think that any money was exchanged in the end although that was obviously his aim. Actually throughout most of our trip, we managed to settle things with police by being apologetic & 'understanding'. But as I said, both parties were technically in the wrong so it was a tricky situation to deal with.
@TheTororist7 жыл бұрын
Jim K I get it. I've been in the same situation and if given them a bribe. But I figured out if you're not in the wrong and threaten them to ipoa while recording, they generally back off with their tails between their legs.

Nicole Eddy that's cool, I'm not lecturing or anything just friendly advice, although in a pinch as a tourist id have prob done the same. Hope you got the sulphur smell out of your clothes btw, noticed y'all passed by the steam vents near the power station and it stinks!!
