Unfortunately large portions of Iranians have been injected with inferiority complex when they see a westerner/European. That's what Islam has done to Iran. Iranian people insult and beat their own people, but they open their homes to completely strange European tourist to come stay with them for free, they'd bring them everywhere with their cars for free, as if the slavery hormones activate when they see a westerner. Fortunately not all of us are like that, some of us are still Iranian.

11:52 here is a tip for “Doogh” and “Kabab”; Doogh is simply mixture of herbs, salt and yogurt. It’s completely original to Iranian culture. We usually drink it with the food, and I recommend to mix it well before drinking it. for the Kabab, I recommend to mix rice with butter and cooked tomatoes. Now you will fill your spoon with mixed rice with a little kebab on top and eat it. And then you may take sip of Doogh. 😊

@@HK-uq9by another Iranian-Turk who love to express Turkish involvement in everything; it's like saying everywhere you can find pizza or cola. The origins of kabab koobideh and doogh can be traced back to ancient Persia. where grilling meat was a common cooking method. The practice of mincing meat and mixing it with spices to create kababs has been refined over centuries in Iran over the span of 2500 years of history. same for doogh, originating as a way to preserve and consume yogurt (mast) in a more liquid form. The practice of mixing yogurt with water and herbs has been documented in Persian culture for centuries. Similar to kabab koobideh, doogh's creation cannot be pinned to a specific individual but is rather a product of the collective culinary heritage of Iran.

Just to contribute a little here if I may. The large square called Nakshe-Jahan or Meydaneh shah (Kings square) is the second largest square in the world only to Tiananmen square in China. As well as a royal residency it was created to be a functional establishment; hence arches and alleyways around the square where handicrafts were created, displayed and skills passed on to next generation of craftsmen and women even to this day. It is widely believed that the sport Polo was derived from Persia and hence was a favourite sport amongst Persian Kings. The large pool in the middle of the square with fountains actually used to be a Polo field those days where the King and his guests used to watch Polo matches. Personally I have visited that square and there's something magical about it. In a way it's people's square.
