This is way off The Division's standard but, it shouldn't be. DayZ should've looked more like that game (especially tD2) from the beginning. Bohemia took the money from DayZ pre-orders to create a pay-to-win BR game called Vigor instead. Have a look at Vigor's maps & look at what they can do if they can be bothered.

New York in DayZ doesn't make much sense, because high rise buildings will only ever be empty husks with no purpose - they don't spawn loot or zombies. It should have an "Escapre from New York" vibe, but this map just looks like a variation of rural Chernarus

very fair point, a better place would likely be somewhere like Yonkers... especially with the World War Z lore... less high rises, more bridges, industrial complexes, and apartments that hit a max of 3 floors.

I live pretty close to Manhattan. This is amazing work. It doesn't really feel like lower Manhattan tbh tho. But it's still really sick. Needs more buildings closer together, but it's getting there! And Thompson square Park needs extra zombies 😂
