OMG If I knew it beforhand! We just live 50min away from Verbania and do our weekly shopping there 😂 Hope you enjoyed the islands. The isola madre with the white peacocks and blooming magnolia is like heaven in April. You should also see Villa Taranto in April when it‘s full of tulips. 🤍 please come and visit the swiss part of the lago maggiore as well!

Yes!! I would love to visit the Swiss part of lake Maggiore! It is on my wish list! Honestly one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to! So underrated 🫶🥰

@@mollyjoxoxo Or come to Locarno / Ascona during the film festival or the moon and stars openair, both are in summer. And if you got 1-2 spare days you can visit the picturesque vallies (maggia valley and verzasca valley) by public transport. Your hotel or the tourist infopoint at the train station will help you. It‘s also quite easy from Locarno to travel to Lucerne and Berne (bernese alps) by train to do a fantastic trip to the heart of Switzerland!
