This summer me and my wife flew from the UK to get married at villa muggia - Stresa along with 75 guests. It was truly the best week/day of my life. Having had 3 separate week long trips here i can honestly say "GranoDuro" does the best pizza in stresa. The "Sfilatino" is incredible! Isola bella palace and garden tour is an absolute must!

Awesome video guys. Italian food is amazing. But it’s so much more regionally specific than we realize. If you say Italian food to an Italian, they won’t know what you’re talking about. If you want good pizza, Naples is the place to go. Rome has some good variations too, but they’re more known for Amatriciana, Cacio e pepe, etc. Lombardy’s more known for risotto. Sometimes you’ll find good food outside of their specific regions, but you’ll have better luck if you stick with the specialty of the area you’re in.

Hi There...Your video was excellent ...but when you mentioned the "worst" pizza and the "best" pizza ...I didn't see the names of the establishments. Also you mentioned about the best croissants for a good price, but once again you didn't tell us the name of the shop. My twin sis will be there next May and would love to know the names of the places you mentioned. Is that possible? Thanks a bunch!

@LetsMeetAbroad Жыл бұрын
Haha yep super Dutch! Good question, have been thinking about it my entire run haha. But yes, I think you can! There was a bus connection and the ferry connects all the villages. Maggiore is really amazing. We’re still thinking about the croissant place..

1:55 Pizza is above all a Neapolitan invention. For Neapolitans the concept of abroad starts outside their region when it's about pizza. I had wonderful pizzas in several parts of Italy but I often noticed the difference in Naples.

You want good pizza, come to New York. Go to any neighborhood pizza place, hold two finger in the air and say..."Ay, lemme get a coupla slices" Written on the boxes.. "You tried all the rest, now try the best"...... Same for bagels. You can only get good bagels in and around New York City.
@alessandro-alex144k Жыл бұрын
