But in all seriousness, you get a thumbs up for the vibe and bravery shooting film! It's a lot of fun! I got an Olympus EEE PEN (original) and a FUJICA interchangeable lens camera. BTW, filming in store policies varies from store to store, but the Camera Kitamura (the one you ended purchasing from) in my city are super cool! I even test shoot with their Digital cameras in their store.

Put your M6 away in the bag with the rewind know on the zipper side. More risk of bending it if its on the bottom of the bag 😉

Just so the lesson is really learned: that top dial is meters. Please don't mistake for feet and shoot an entire roll out of focus. I wouldn't blame you, I've made stupider mistakes, but don't make that one.

Not just with cameras but with any goods/merchandise in general, a lot of merchants have a "no photography [of merch]" rule. And more often than not, it probably stemmed from a past incident by a disrespectful tourist. Watch out for the "no photography" signage, sometimes it's very small, and often it's a simple icon so easily missed.

The best Contax compact camera are the first Contax T, not the T2. I have the Leica Minilux which have the best Lens of all analogue compact point-and-shoot cameras ever made.
