Thekkady has been in my dream for many years. I stay close to Thekkady relatively, but haven't been there. I wish I could experience it one day.

Yes please do! It’s really nice, especially the Periyar reserve and staying at George and Shanti’s place is something we will cherish for a long time. And we plan to return to Thekkady and spend more time in the future, perhaps for a longer stay. Do share your experience if you ever go there!! ☺️
