Somali are the best ppl. Love 🇸🇴🇸🇴🇸🇴🇸🇴 I dont know why you kenyan ppl hate somali. They invest and give work to you ppl. If you respect to somali they wil respect you back. If not they kick your ass.

I'm from the diaspora, half Borana (Oromo) and half Somali (Ajuran clan), and spend a lot of time in Kenya. Kenyans do not hate Somalis; in fact, the Garre and Ajuran Somalis are Kenyans as well. Cushites have been present in what is considered today's Kenya longer than anyone else. However, if you refer to what Kenyans, particularly Kikuyus, Luos, and others, dislike, it's those who create violence in their country, which has been peaceful since independence-a remarkable feat in Sub-Saharan Africa. Wahhabism and Salafism, sects of Islam, are like a cancer to the entire world, whether in Africa, the Middle East, or Europe. Any type of radical Islamism is problematic. For example, the Somali terrorist group Al Shabaab, which attacked the luxury mall Westgate, is a manifestation of this issue. Some Somalis can be ultra-religious and insular and may resist assimilation, though this is improving with the younger generation. Eritreans, Ethiopian Habesha, and Somalis tend to be insular because their cultures are quite different from the rest of Africa. However, even other groups in Africa, such as the Tutsis in the Great Lakes region, who are related to the Eastern Cushites, also exhibit this behavior. Many Somalis are now leaving Islam in large numbers every year, with a significant number converting to Christianity. This shift makes them more open to other African communities when they share the gospel in common. Aside from that, Kenyans are amazing people. There are 42 ethnic groups and over 60 million people in one of the most promising and developed countries in Africa.

@@nassergabriel4778Any Somali worth his salt whether born in Kenya or elsewhere they never leave their religion that is a problem with Borans & Oromos I openly reject your allegation if any of us try it they don't exist to us ..void...Somalis are proud to be Muslims worldwide....

@@nassergabriel4778false, Kenyans don't hate somalis, if that is the case, you wouldn't find them in Bondo, Mumias, Eldoret, Nyeri, Machakos, Meru etc The best place Kenyans prefer buying their goods is in Eastleigh. Trade your words well.

When I moved from Somalia to Kenya between 1993 and 1996, Nyali was my first place of residence. I often spent time at Nyali Mall and the beach near the Four Seasons Hotel. I loved the area; it was very upscale at the time! I never went back to the area, but I can see it that is even better now!

I think they need to build parks and recreation places for kids and adults. A place to walk and joke and for kids to play it would make it more hospitable. But otherwise I wish Nairobi and central Kenya can learn something from Somalis on how to build apartments as opposed to those ugly brick looking apts they build that look they are just about to collapse and many have collapsed
