You do eat the oiled pickle (called aachar here) with rice, dal and subzi/curry. you don't eat it on it's own, it's quite bitter and the person who said they eat that with yogurt has got some crazy taste buds + you're suppose to cook the paneer, it has curry in it, without that it tastes bland as helll. Also i'm gonna need a part 2 to this!!!!

As an indian member of chan chan who once shaved his head too along with you guys. I’m so glad you tried indian snacks. One thing the pani puri wasn’t authentic the authentic one is 1000 x better plus you were supposed to mix the big bag with the sauce in water that would make pani puri water you should’ve fried the kebab instead of microwave. Pickle isn’t eaten alone 😭😭 you have it with roti(flatbread) or rice. Instead of eating panner raw you make a dish out of it. (Search paneer recipes) You got scammed by maggi too it’s never done in two minutes it’s just a marketing gimmick. You can also add fry veggies like onions tomato capsicum peas corn panner to your maggie. The boiled maggie is basic no one eats it like that it’s the most versatile food ever. Lizzat pappar is kinda iconic you fry it in oil on tava/pan why’d you eat it raw 😭😭 Again you ate the bitter gourd raw look up some karela recipe. If you have an Indian friend or know someone indian you should’ve asked them how it’s eaten most stuff is prepared. You should come to india I’d love to host you.

I'm so glad you're explaining the legit way to eat this delicious food. My family is Jewish but from India on my grandmother's side, but there are very few places to get kosher Indian food in the US :( unless you try to make it yourself but then it's not authentic :( I'm so excited bc my cousin is from Seattle and is going to send frozen samosas with my mother to me :) Any Indians want to start a kosher/vegan restaurant in Baltimore pleeeease??

@@jjkyosi yep, it does work. I’m at 50 lb lost a month later! I’m holding steady and don’t crave it at all. It’s hard to avoid ALL sugar, but I do avoid added sugars. Also, be careful with sugar free stuff. It tore my stomach up recently 🤣

jacob!!!! you're not meant to eat the pickle or paneer alone!!! The pickle is normally eaten with rice so the flavor is diluted and paneer is made into a curry so that the paneer absorbs all the curry taste :) also pani puri is supposed to come with green spicy water (pani means water, puri refers to the round cracker thing), idk why the packet gave u green/red sauces instead lol

If you guys ever go to an Indian restaurant, some really yummy things to get are aloo tikki patties (flavorful potato patties), vegetable pakoras (vegetables deep fried in a flavorful batter), actual samosas with the mint chutney and the tamarind chutney (both are so good!), and pretty much any kind of biryani (I love aloo gobi biryani - cauliflower and potato with spices) in addition to curries!!

You should try cooking the paneer cheese. It’s so much better. You can do it on a skillet or in the oven but I prefer the air fryer (I do like 5 mins or so @ 350, flip halfway through. I cook it just enough so it gets golden crispy on the edges). Cut it into rectangular slices; it’ll hold its shape when cooked and melts a little in the middle. My fav is using a little honey & lemon juice as a glaze right when they get out of the air fryer.

The maggi instant noodles I think are meant to be a dry noodle? Maybe that’s why it has a lighter flavor, try draining the water next time and mixing the seasoning with the noodles only. Love watching you guys!!! 🎉❤😊
