I run a Jarvis walker telescopic rod with my Shimano reel on it when I’m out in the southwest on my bike, quite small easily fits in my backpack 🤙 Highly recommend. $35 at anaconda or bcf

That’s a great idea! I thought I would have been safe with a hand reel though.. u just don’t plan for those stacks haha. Will try your idea for a replacement though. Would be sick to get into some trout soon!

Thankyou so much! It’s a great little spot! Unfortunately it’s also one of those spots thats been a little trashed.. graffiti and all.. We’re lucky to have some awesome spots this, such a great place to live!

Yeah nice spot, good little tracks leading to it, went there late last year, although it was hot I didnt swim as I didnt like the look of the water, dont think I'd be eating any fish from there

I didn’t swim either, noticed a lot of wild life, but nothing was drinking the water haha. I wouldn’t be eating anything from there either! Pretty sure there’s a few cars down the bottom of that pit..

Epic run down Harvey way, shame about the hand line… That water hole is an epic location to make camp! Where about is that?
