I'm trying to help Sean you goose. His videos are great and he probably has no idea about the mic clicks because he stated that he does not watch all the footage back when posting. Those purple to red flowers are bougainvillea Sean not cyclamen. The colour you dee on them is actually the leaf. If you look closely there is a tiny white flower in the centre. Blame it on the beer Laos 😂👍

Great vlog, brought back lots of memories. Spent 2 months in Luang Prabang this time last year. If you do a sunset cruise, SaSa cruises where you put on the captains hat is the way to go. It's been owned by a cool english speaking Frenchman and his Lao wife for 15 years, good music, hot snack foods and cold beer & spirits on a nice boat. So good I did it 3 times. Also should go up Phousi Hill behind the night market for a great view of the whole area, with lots of small temples on the walk up. Would be good for a drone. The 2nd waterfall you mentioned was almost dry at this time, but Kuang Si waterfall was absolutely awesome, and has lots of water year round, along with a bear park and butterfly farm. There's another waterfall at the Green Jungle Park across the river on the car ferry, which was also nearly dry, but it has elephants and a nice botanic garden. 👍

Interesting fact: Barack Obama was the first ever US President to visit Laos & Luang Prabang in 2016. He had a meal at one of the river front restaurants in LP. They now have a full size cardboard cut out of him, along with many pictures of him eating there. Brave move on his part with the history.
