Exploring Minnehaha Falls Regional Park in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Minnehaha Falls has been a Minneapolis destination for visitors and residents for over 150 years.
In this video, we explore Minnehaha Park following the creek all the way to the Mississippi River and back again to get an up-close view of the falls in July 2022.

I was at Minnehaha Park about 2 weeks ago and the falls and upper creek were 100% dried up. Glad to see the falls trickling again. Glad your pup had a good time in the little water there was. :) I didn't go down to the trails, holy crap I can't believe all the graffitti. Never seen it like that and I've been going to Minnehaha Park my entire life.

Hey Erin - Thanks for watching. In fact, this video was taken at the end of July, so we must have been there just before the creek dried up. Yeah - all the graffiti is really disappointing. It's such a pointless thing, especially in a beautiful public park.

I never saw that defacement of that beautiful park when I lived there from the fifties through 1972. That’s disgusting! But it’s still a beautiful place that I will always remember and thank you very much for making this wonderful video.
