🇲🇾 Exploring Miri, Sarawak 2024

I'm heading back to Brunei for a week and transiting in Miri for 12 hours! Since I'll only be here for 12 hours, we'll mainly be eating (a lot). Growing up in Brunei, we used to frequent Miri a lot but was never adventurous with trying new food. This Trip we'll be going out of our comfort zones to try more of what Miri has to offer.

The hotel is so terrible - If I go to Sarawak next time, I must ask you privately to avoid it! Thanks for your very local context introducing the unique food there - i have never seen Midin fern before. Enjoyed your video 😊

I wanna visit Miri but I will stay Marriott or Pullman or Mercure, definitely not at the mall type

Good choice! When I was exploring Miri I noticed that Pullman was in a pretty good locations, especially with time square around the corner. Will definitely try staying there next time!

Interesting video. Your comment about Miri not being a place that people generally travel to especially in Sarawak may be true to Sarawakians. However, during gaji time and holidays, the number of visitors from Brunei are insane. Long border queues up to 9km long. Similar but smaller in number than the Singaporean holiday and weekend exodus to JB. Regarding your hotel stay, tell me that it's the M***t* without telling me that it is...😛😛😛
