Another great video. Certainly makes me want to make the drive to Lake Winnipeg and do some exploring. I was wondering if you might be able to comment in one of your videos on fishing etiquette, specifically when it comes to setting up right beside someone else on the ice. I was recently out on LOTP and had 5 km of ice between me and the bridge and I had a group of guys show up and drill a dozen holes within feet of my tent. When I confronted one of them about it, they acted like I was the problem, saying they had fished there yesterday and "its a big lake". Nothing like ruining someone else's fishing experience because you wanted to get back to exact spot you fished the day before. As always, keep up the good work. I always enjoy watching to see what your next adventure will be. Hopefully I'll get to see you out on the water again soon!! Cheers!
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors7 ай бұрын
I hear ya on this one 100% I think they were in the wrong 100%... At the most they should have had a conversation with you first and been like hey we fished here yesterday do you mind if we fish here again? What I hate about that the most is you would not have set up if they were already there... Ice fishing is so gross for that because if someone comes up to fish beside you in a boat it's easy to just move, but once you are all setup with ice fishing tents, its a pain in the neck to move. I have made comments like this in videos before and I am sure I will do it again when I read stuff like this. Cheers man!

Reply; the infrastructure that’s on the lake crys that the zebra muscles clog up the respective equipment (water pumps, factories, etc) and make the tax payers pay for the infrastructure changes to handle the crustaceans. The “greenback” is that colour because of the pollution. As with LErie, the invasive mussels will clean the water and the fish will go back to their natural colour. Our grandkids will have an amazing fishing as long as we don’t go full commi and the water doesn’t get privatized by companies like eco-certification.
