If you're considering a trip to Thailand, Chiang Mai should be one of the cities you visit! This city is filled with culture, temples, activities, and most important, GREAT Food!
In this video, I am in Chiang Mai for a week and venture out to explore the Nimmanhaemin area in Chiang Mai. This place is the more hip part of town where a lot of new modern restaurant concepts are located. Here in this area, you'll find the Maya Lifestyle Mall as well as many amazing coffee shops all over town. I really like this area and usually stay within a few minutes distance because it has everything you need and is super convenient. On this night, I went out to my one of my favorite street vendors that specialize in Northern Thai sausages. This guy is popular amongst locals and I always see people stopping by to pick up a few skewers to enjoy. I love the Thai way of eating sausages and the night is always good when you get some warm skewers to enjoy.
If you've ever thought about traveling for a longer period or living in another country for some time, I highly recommend it. Life is short and it's time to live!

Hi Davion! I was in Chiang Mai last November. It's ok but I think it's overrated. Besides, Bangkok, I really enjoyed Hua Hin because of its proximity to the ocean. I'll be in Thailand this October.

Nice! Yeah everyone has different preferences. I really like CM because I’m a big nature person and I love northern Thai food. Also it’s a little bit on the chill pace so that’s my kind of environment I like. Bangkok is great though. Hard to beat. Hua Hin is definitely on my list to visit soon

I’m Thai. I don’t like Chiangmai no proper connection of public transportation. No proper sidewalk. Pollution too

Yeah best way is to rent a motorbike or grab. No city can beat Bangkok’s public transportation. I don’t think there’s much pollution there

@@mosqutio88 I actually live in BK, but my friends who live in CM usually go to the islands or BK during those months. One has said the past few years haven’t been that bad during burning season
