04:30 I suffered from depression for many years in Germany. In 1999 I flew to Chiang Mai for the first time. My depression was gone, completely gone. I had energy. Just like you. It came back on the plane back to Germany. I was really afraid of my home country. From then on, I flew to Thailand twice a year, mostly to Chiang Mai. But I felt worse and worse in Germany. In 2017 I emigrated completely. I have now lived in Chiang Mai for almost 7 years and my depression is gone. I only feel bad when I think back to Germany. Thailand is therapy. Chiang Mai is one of best cities in TH, as you say, special people good vibes and delicious food ❤i would never take the cable car up to wonderful Doi Suthep Temple, "the journey is the destination", clambering slowly upwards is nice because of the amazing changing view😊✌Love your videos Mickey, interaction with locals is showing your brilliant Thai speaking❣ 🙏Btw. if you go to Chiang Dao, you could pass through Phrao, it is nice as well.....

I have to diagree with you when you say that eating Khao Soi gives you an amazing day... I had one on my 50th Birthday 7 weeks ago and later on that same day I got a broken arm... 😊But nethertheless we love Chiang Mai and will be back next year...

There are some nice local restaurants on the small soi's off Loh Kroh road....one of the best is about half way down, turn right on Soi 1, walk past the Number one bar and past the scooter hire shop to a small restaurant on the left called 'Aum and Camrons' ....excellent thai food and reasonably priced beer....a lot of the bar girls from Loh Kroh eat here and take aways are constantly leaving the shop to be delivered to girls working in the bars....

I agree with you Mickey, that we already have a lot of negative vibes these days. These Thai traditions are an opportunity to think about the positive vibes, to wish for good things in life. This is the beauty of traditions that have been passed down for a long time. Last year, it seems that you also brought us to visit Sukhothai. It is a very impressive Loi Krathong festival in an ancient historical city of Thailand. Even though I am Thai, I have only had the chance to visit Loi Krathong there once. I feel a little jealous of you right now. 55 🥰👻👻 Thank you for taking us to visit the ancient temples in Chiang Mai as well. It makes our minds peaceful and happy.
