I remember when it first opened , I was in junior high. I went there all the time with my mother. There was a store that you could buy candy from the time period and they also gave out free samples of sarsaparilla (root beer).

I love visiting this place in Autumn! the walking trails with the changing leaves is so nice. I would recommend Huntington village as well with their Hecksher park and Museum of art if your ever in the area looking for another spot tot visit with the family on Long Island.
