Spent plenty of time in Oregon but unfortunately mostly in casting foundries (Portland, Milwaukie, and Clackamas) on aerospace business. I did see a few amazing sights (homes built around trees) but didn’t have the time to explore and truly see all the state had to offer. Recall waking up to the aftermath of an overnight ice storm that left my rental car completely engulfed in ice so thick that a hotel staff member said “just go back to sleep, you’re missing your flight my friend”. Of course he was correct, wasn’t his 1st ice car rodeo. Thank you for sharing the beauty I sadly missed, appreciate the time and effort in giving us a glimpse of some of Oregon’s natural beauty. Oh wow. You aren't the first one who has mentioned the ice storms to me. Glad we weren't there in the winter. Hope you'll get a chance to go back and explore the state more. It's beautiful
