I've been there. It's in the town of Puerto Jimenez. It's beautiful, but it's not really in the middle of the jungle. There are patches of secondary jungle with some nice tropical gardens. It's a short walk into town from la choza del manglar. Wildlife abounds, white faced capuchins, scarlet macaws, hummingbirds, iguanas and a crocodile or two in the swamps. You have to head further into the osa for primary rainforest.

The hostel was my favorite place that we have stayed at while traveling so far. I think Nicole's favorite was Xilopalo Hotel in La Fortuna.

There are mosquitos... but there are also so many bats that it's not too big of a problem. Bats can eat up to 2,000 mosquitos a day!!!

Land crabs there were annoying. I had to jump over one to enter my room.
