Nice video, good job with the drone footage. It added perspective to the mansions and the boats. Lots of nice footage and scenery. Looks like you are enjoying the van. Always a thumbs 👍

My wife makes the best lobster rolls on Cape Cod and her stuffed Quahogs tops too! I dig the Quahogs my self, I'll be getting my Shell fishing Permit this week the clam bed are open. They closed them for covid for what or why I don't know! the Cape is very nice in the fall less traffic, All the New Yorkers here for the summer have gone. you know, N.J.must be the same!

That’s definitely true for central Jersey beaches, us in south Jersey get the philly/Delaware crowds!! We’ll have to try your wife’s lobster roll sounds delicious!

Hey you two... just found your channel after going to Cabo. Been binging on your earlier episodes. Appreciate the adult, normal take to this... there's some other great channels on van life but sometimes they seem a little "too excited" about things. Keep up the great work. Cheers.

Ok, i'm like really late to the conversation, but next time slide further south along the coast. Stop at Matunuck Oyster Bar in South Kingston for oysters (although might be a really long wait to get a table) and over to Champlin's in Galilee for an authentic working dockside seafood eating experience you can tour the docks afterwards when they bring in their catches. Continue down to Watch Hill to walk Napatree Beach, have lunch at Bay Street Cafe for the best Lobster Roll in the area and continue to Stonington for a continuation of the seashore lifestyle (eat at the DogWatch too, if the weather is good at the one along hwy 1, otherwise in the village is great too, ask the owner about sailing solo around the world). And wrap up the shore experience at the Mystic Seaport....Yes, touristy but worth it. Camping along the coast is expensive and there aren't many places. Stop in Avondale and we can help you with pronunciation of the place and town names.....LOL Enjoying your vids. Will be watching your progress thru the western states. Safe Travels.

When you guys eat on the roof in parking lots, do people not talk to you constantly? Whenever we’re working on the van in public someone always approaches us to talk about campers. One way to meet new people

Hi Kevin!! Really enjoyed your van tour and excited to see your content! Just wanted to give you a tip as you guys are building your channel. You have some great cinematography and solid start on your b roll game. My suggestion is keep leaning into learning about videography which will get you guys into the millions faster. Clearly you already are but keep that up! If you look at the success of any vlogger doing travel vlogs, it’s the ones that have wildly cinematic content that get the most views. You’ve got the gear and a good eye, you just need to press into a strong post production routine. Consistency and polish go so so far as an avid travel vlog consumer, it’s what makes me want to subscribe if I just really want to go see the place your clogging! The first thing I thought when I saw this video (which I came to after I saw your van tour), was great footage but it’s not colour graded and needs more continuity. I follow lots of cinematographers and these two are amazing at giving tips for making things look beautiful! kzbin.info/www/bejne/qn7Xfmecrqx7bZI kzbin.info/www/bejne/fYrYlZKNbLSob6c Mattie and Pete gained super fast success because they knew how to make things look good!! I don’t want you to feel like I’m being negative at all. Really love what your doing! Hope to be a fellow van lifer some day, but because I watch so much van life context, I thought it might be a helpful suggestion. Thanks for your content and sharing your life with us :)
@MathersOnTheMap4 жыл бұрын
Jessica, seriously thank you for taking the time to write this. I really really appreciate it! I will definitely check that out and you’re right, I definitely don’t color grade yet! Still have a lot to learn for sure. I will check those out thank you and thanks for the tip
