I agree with you. Palmer Ranch is beautiful and well planned community. The planners have kept beautiful, large Oak tress and so many tropical green areas. It is without a doubt one of the prettiest developments in all of Sarasota and Lakewood Ranch. When we moved here 20 years ago they didn't have a selection of large homes that we needed for our 5 children. But that is not the case now. Palmer Ranch is also close to the number 1 highest rated school in the state of FL. They don't seem to have the flooding problem that other areas experience in Sarasota. By the way, you did a fantastic job on the reporting regarding the terrible flooding many Sarasota areas experienced with Hurricane Debby. Very thorough and professionally directed. Anyone buying a home anywhere in FL needs to really check out the flooding problem. That is one our biggest problems as home owners here. We are doing the repairs ourselves out of fear we will loose our homeowners insurance. I don't know if it will improve since a large, new development next to Palmer Ranch has recently been approved. Once again, where will the water flow if we loose more land that traditionally has been our overflow. We fear our home will be unsellable if the water issues aren't resolved soon. Its heart breaking.
