Castlemilk isn't as bad as it was in the 70/80/90s, but still bad, but good people mostly, and it's the same all over Glasgow and the West of Scotland, I know theirs far worse schemes in glesga, carntyne, gallowgate, Calton, bridgton, parkhead, possil Maryhill, Milton blackhill Springburn, Govan, barlanark, and so on, that's much worse than castlemilk is, Rip M2. The Name The Valley for Simshill area aka SPAM Valley is the Area where people spent all their money buying their homes they live on Cans of Cold Meat - SPAM. Simshill was built Privately by Mactaggart & Mickel circa 1953 and was Owner Occupants while Drakemire was built by Glasgow Municipality aka Council also circa 1953 and was Social Housing for those on low incomes.
