Otherwise the gang will make kids the dealers as kids are easier to intimidate and force them to say quiet, when if you expecting 5-10 year for dealing or give information you have more to lose and are more likely to give up details. While a child will not talk, they already don't talk to the parents in a lot of cases they are also the issue but no space to go into that point.

And as a pilot myself, this actually makes getting lasered much worse, because by the time the beam reaches the aircraft, It is considerably wider and has much more of a blinding effect in the cockpit, as it scatters off of the windows and in to your eyes.
