I was surprised too, that walk was long! I ended up walking about 12 miles that night...i had to catch a train for the rest of the way there. I really wanted to make it all the way.. It was nice to meet the kids and people as i walked. I'm sure Rex would love to see me giving his gifts away to people more in need of them than me.
