You are a master of gadgetry Joel. 🏆 and that was a serious amount of work in all your camera angles and editing; was fun to see your cargo trailer conversion in action!

Congratulations on your achievement, Joel! Perhaps a well placed fishing net would have caught the drone. 😉

Well done on your accreditation Joel, and a good video with beautiful scenery, also your drone mishap is quite common. I had the same situation and was not giving up on my 1k drone, and an extendable painters pole from the tire saved the day. Good luck in your career.

Thank you! These little drones are quite robust to say the least lol.

Congratulations Joel!!! And, thanks again for another great vid, glad the drone is saved!! I hate the bugs too, especially the horse/moose flies. I recently bought some clip-on dragonflies (that are supposed to repel them) but haven't tried them yet - heading out camping tomorrow - Bay of Fundy area - hope they work!!! Cheers!!

Enjoyed the video and congrats on the certification. You’ve probably heard of it, but just in case you haven’t, I’d highly recommend a Thermacell for the bugs - particularly mosquitoes. I’m a firm believer. Another question - I don’t recall, but what did you use to keep your door at a 90 deg when opened. I have the same door on my conversion build and considering a couple of options. Thanks and look forward to the next one.
@JoelTremblayCA5 ай бұрын
Thanks for following along. I do have a thermal cell and use it quite regularly, but honestly in northern Ontario it's a loosing battle. For the door, I simply use a piece of wood. It fits perfectly in the gap when opened, preventing it to close. I have the chain above set a bit tight with the spring so it clamps against that piece of wood. Super simple and works like a charm!
