My husband and I will drive from St. Louis and spend a whole day in St. Charles anytime we get the chance. If you ask any employee in any of the shops, every single one of them will have a ghost story. Whether they're all true or not, we've heard some amazing things about the former inhabitants of those beautiful buildings! Also, it's a fact that a lot of the town is built on top of graves that were supposed to be moved before the town was built. Most of the bodies were just left in an effort to save money.

I don't believe neither St. Charles nor any other place are haunted, but I love to go on ghost tours, just to listen to the stories.
