A lot of good details in your video regarding the cave, its history, and its namesake. Very well-researched! Thumbs up! When I was there a few years ago, I believe the entrance fee was only five dollars.

From time to time, surfers might swim over from The Shores, go up the stairs and run out the gift shop. At least that's what I heard back in the '80s when my friends and I did it! I really enjoy your videos. Always a "Must See"!

I used to swim over from the Shores snorkeling around and run up the stairs when I was a kid all the time.

Before you even mentioned that the location was used in film I kept thinking that it's very cinematic. No surprise that it was! What a great little hidden gem. Had no idea about it! 👍

I discovered Sunny Jim's Cave the summer before my 9th grade year (1968), I don't remember what I paid, but I loved it, I took some friends from out of town there about 5 years ago, and we all loved it ($5). While it was noticeable in the video you didn't mention how steep the stairs are and that many of the steps are wet all the time, I highly recommend using the hand rail at all times.

I saw an old poster from the 1980s that had the price at a dollar.

Love the video. However, Baby It's Cold Outside has only recently become... "controversial". Used to be just a really cute, sweet winter duet. The minds that made it controversial? I gotta wonder about them.

Its so cool when you swim to the cave and see all the tourists paying good money to do what a strong swimmer can do for free
