I wish some entity like The Travel Channel would pick you guys up and give you a series. Would LOVE to see you explore not only the other US states, but other countries!! You produce such incredibly professional videos and such interesting content. Thanks for doing all that you do to bring us to all the mysterious and mind-boggling places in California. :)

Sorry IBM, I don't think that will happen. I think that the Big channels want to start their own shows, hire unheard of people for 'Chump change' and Reap all the Money for themselves! I may be wrong... But I doubt it. In the 21st century, it seems that Money is all that matters. In this modern world, Money and food are more powerful than weapons! Actually I worded that wrong. They are more powerful than 'conventional' weapons, as money and food have become weapons...

Hello Friends! Nice Video! Ya'll sure found a great and interesting place for this one(although You always do!). I always think about how things in California compare with things in Eastern America (that I am really familiar with). I thought of various caves and caverns of the Appalachian/Smoky mountain ranges. I grew up with these and have been in many that were both an organized visit and just kids going into places they shouldn't be in(for safety reasons, not trespassing). When you were telling about the history of that Cave and Stores access, I really almost burst out laughing about it's 'creation'. It could have been anywhere with slightly different wording. This guy came across a cave in a bluff over the ocean. He bought some land above it and told a couple of boys, "Hey, help me dig a hole to up there and I'll give you 20 bucks each!". After the carefully engineered excavation was performed, he said "I'm gonna charge people to go in my hole!". One of the helpers(Now a friend because near death experiences together make strangers into friends) was asking "How you gonna do that? We about got killed a couple of times between the ground sliding and the dang stuff collapsing on Us!". Well, Mr Entrepreneur says "You ought to use your head for something besides a hat-rack! I ain't gonna have folks sliding around on the ground and making my d@mn hole fall in. I'm gonna hang a rope in there!". Helper is like, "That's a Good idea! Yer Smurt!". "You done spent a pile of money on land, tools and hiring Me and Zeke... You buying rope too? You're gonna go broke!". Entrepreneur says "You idiot, I'm gonna charge 50 cents a head for them there folks to climb on my rope!", "They can see the cave and they ain't gotta have No boat. But it'll cost em 50 cent if they wanna use my Hole!"... Yep, Red Neckerson of California. Reminds me of "The Underground Sea" in Tennessee. It is really large and now they have Boat tours of all the underground lake. It is also well over a hundred and fifty steps down. The steps are cut into the rock of the mountain. In it's past an Eastern US redneck had his 'Entrepreneuring' idea that he was opening a Bar! It is naturally climate controlled year round and has that interesting element of being a huge cave, to attract customers. Well he opened the 'Cavern Tavern' and I expect that he made decent enough money for a while but I don't know for sure. Those details of history got overshadowed by him going broke paying off the family of the guy who got killed! I wreckon that the man didn't figure on a drunk guy leaving his bar might slip on one of those 150+ steep stairs trying to get out to go home! That ought to be a DUI defense, "Hell, if I made it up all em steps, I can't be Too drunk Ossiferr."! Yeah, I guess a redneck anywhere is going to come up with an idea to 'make a buck'! Again Nice Video! Ya'll Take Care and be safe, John

Thanks for the fascinating presentation. I've lived in southern California for nearly 65 years but I've never visited this sea cave. There's one of the longest sea caves in the world (one quarter mile long) at the Channel Islands off the coast of Santa Barbara. It can only be accessed by boat and a colony of Sea Lions lives in the distant end. It's an interesting cave because it's a lava tube that was formed by volcanic activity, which accounts for its great size and enormous length. There re a few youtube videos about it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5_Cp4SBqbxjq8U
