One of the stores that we love in talkeetna is aurora Dora. Her photos are so vibrant and beautiful. We always order her prints on metal and have them shipped home to Illinois. Happy anniversary again my friends from your friend in Illinois.

We were in Talkeetna last year, planned an extra day before our Princess cruisetour, so we took the bus round trip from Anchorage. We loved Talkeetna, I did dryland mushing at Dallas Seavey's kennel and my husband went fishing. Hoping to make another trip soon. We loved the cinnamon rolls at the bakery. Happy Anniversary

Yea, ALL the bunnies, wow! Looked so fun, trying to get my husband interested in visiting Alaska… He lived up there for a little while I think in the 70s, and he (mostly) loved it. So we’ll see… I’m thinking a cruise to Anchorage then take off on our own for a little bit. Does that sound good to folks on here?

Yes, however it's a new cat since your visit! In 2017 Stubbs, the iconic cat mayor of Talkeetna passed away. Since then Denali has become the new cat mayor :)
