Exploring Taveuni: The garden island of Fiji, exotic flowers

I spent over 6 months in Fiji due to the Covid-19 pandemic... I had arrived in Fiji with the intent to move on to Japan (Tokyo) 3 weeks later when in a matter of 2 days, the borders were closed and all flights cancelled keeping me (and many others) inside the country of Fiji... After 3 months of virtual isolation in the island of Viti Levu and the town of Nadi, Fiji Airways announced very cheap flights for people that were already inside Fiji, to travel to the Fijian islands. I jumped on the opportunity and visited 4 islands including Taveuni. I was virtually alone and travelled everywhere by bus (if possible) or by walking (up to 10 kilometers a day!). Unfortgettable places and moments!!!!!

Bula... That flower grows on top of the mountain and it was very difficult to get up there during the hot, humid days I was there.. Thank you for watching!
