Nice to see inside this building but it’s not actually abandoned and is currently undergoing restoration. We visit the park regularly and us locals know that it’s hoped to be an art gallery of some sorts in the near future.

See at 10:55 and after, the drive is meticulously maintained // See also at 18:36 this looks like a very well funded sect committed to anti-Semitism? /// if the house is black marble it probably came from Ireland // see also the grand staircase at Hamilton Palace demolished 1927 where the entrance staircase was done in Irish black marble? // Which country is this in, my first thought was the North of England or Scotland?. Next we see correspondence with Buffalo in the US???????????????

The place is not abandoned. No point trying to find out where it is as it's now being monitored due to items being taken from there as there has been a few visitors in the last couple of week. I live close by and some of the land is open to the public but the house is private property. Dates back to around the 1500's but the house as it is now is about 200yrs old. The original family who were very powerful and owned thousands of acres in the area but were also very powerful throughout the UK and owned the property up until the mid 30's and sold all they owned in this part of the country around the 60's.The family basically owned huge areas and their history is very interesting and still have vast estate and land in another part of the UK. It's been used for several things over the years, taken over by US forces during the WW2, local authority offices and agricultural college. It was sold about 10 years ago and it's currently being renovated to be used for cultural and arts activities.

I recognize this manner and was actually just reading about it. It's really hard to recognize from the old pictures that were in the article because it looks nothing like the same house. Amazing really. I just can't get over someone leaving all that stuff there. There have to be valuable documents, photographs, and other historical things that should be kept safe and out of the elements.

Looks like someone is doing something. The grounds arent overgrown which could indicate abandonment. Maybe its shut up for winter? But absolutely amazing building. You would think they would at least have some groundsmen, or a caretaker there just to keep it running or a part of it running
