Hey homie! Great to meet ok the SRV Member’s trip on the weekend 😁 The weird metal thing on the utilities pipe at 7:45 I believe is meant to be like a ‘fence’ to act as a deterrent for people to climb onto the pipe as it goes over an elevated drop like the river/creek. Happy to be corrected otherwise

Another great video brother I love that series you've done. I think you should do more series. longer and in depth with some of the next stuff you go exploring. But yeah my favourite old railway to see have always been interested in that particular one.

Abandoned rail lines are always a shame. I'm in the U.S. and not down under but wonder what it would take to rehab that line and maybe use it for rail tours or what it was originally intended for ?

Gday from straya! The south Gippsland line was a very long rail line back in the day, when the line closed a section was a tourist railway but even that had to shut down, more then half the line is now converted to a rail trail for bikes and walking, the remaining section with track remaining will still cost over a billion to create rail and road infrastructure
