UPDATE: As of November 15th 2024, The Splinter Cell movie has been cancelled.

George Clooney would have been the perfect Sam Fisher back in the day. He looks like the original character model from the initial trilogy.
@KaLionVsTheWorld Жыл бұрын
Most definitely and had that been done 20-10 years ago, it would’ve been a smash hit financially, judging by Clooney’s box office boost. I don’t understand the need for a younger Sam, when the games’ mature Sam gives more badass vibes.

@@KaLionVsTheWorld me neither! I like an old grisly Sam Fisher who has been through a lot so he is very seasoned and knows how to handle himself in any situation!

Max Martini in my opinion all the way.

Clooney could still do a Conviction movie

Yessss!!! I thought this for over 19 years I'm so happy someone else said it!!!!!!! George Clooney would have been perfect, same look and similar voice. God Bless you!!!

I really wished Liam Neeson would be played as Sam Fisher for the sequel instead of a prequel of the Splinter Cell series, even better, the expansion of the Clancy universe too. He really has the same characteristics and personality as Sam Fisher when he recently portrayed as the ex-government agent in the Taken series.😅

That Chaos Theory movie "teaser" makes delays for games like Cyberpunk, Skull & Bones, and Star Citizen seem quaint by comparison.

The way things are going, it’ll be tough to beat, unless the Splinter Cell movie is officially declared dead.

@@KaLionVsTheWorld Maybe they're just waiting for Tom Hardy to age into the role...another 4-5 years...🤞
@KaLionVsTheWorld2 жыл бұрын
@@frankiefisher6110That would be a power move, but with so many “shooting dates”, that never went through, it doesn’t seem plausible.

@@KaLionVsTheWorld Another main line game would probably help rejuvinate interest in the movie...but Splinter Cell just isn't the huge-selling IP that Ubisoft and the Studios are clamoring for. It's best bet is for some streaming service to make it come true (ala Last of Us, the Boys, etc.). As a fan, I'm cautiously optimistic for the anime.

I always saw George Clooney as being the perfect person to portray Sam - I think it would have been a big gamble seeing as final fantasy film didn't do well

I know the developers not always have much to say but on the remake there is working a bunch of people that made the original Splinter Cell... So I have hope.

My opinion was in part referring to Ubisoft announcing something and abandoning it. I am afraid both POP and Splinter Cell remakes might not come out given the current circumstances there.

I didn't even know there was announced animates series. That shit still isn't out.

Eric Winter would do too but he's a bit too tall for Sam Fisher. However, he'd make a perfect Judge Dredd, right height and build and the downwards slit of a mouth, just like Dredd in the comics.

Irony, given how Michael Ironside was in that movie too, who voices him in all the games besides Blacklist.

Let a die-hard fan direct the movie and we'd have it before a full new Splinter Cell game.

I think they should just make the Splinter Cell movie and get it over with. The more films they make on the series, the better the movies will be.

It's crazy how Ubisoft backed out of a Splinter Cell movie because of Assassin's Creed's failure. Liman would have been so promising to helm the movie too. Ya just have to make a decent movie, perhaps try to be faithful too. Hell, Prince of Persia fared better, so it's possible to make something work with a little effort and those who have some semblance of care for the IP 🤷♂
@KaLionVsTheWorld Жыл бұрын
I agree, I enjoyed the Prince Of Persia movie. I’m jealous of anyone that got ahold these Prince Of Persia movie LEGO sets because they were pretty cool for their time.
